Nick Price, renowned golfer and former world number one, has teamed up with the prestigious golf course architect, Ronald Fream to create the Pestana Gramacho. With 18 holes, 27 greens, and several tee points, players can enjoy the same course several times, always with different challenges.

Recognised as an excellent course for holding championships at the highest level, the Pestana Gramacho golf course has several times hosted the qualifying stages of the European Seniors Tour and also the Ladies European Tour. However it can also be enjoyed by players with a higher handicap.

As well as doing an excellent job in the technical design of the course, Ronald and Nick have managed to blend in perfectly with the natural landscape, preserving the existing flora, particularly the carob trees, some of which are hundreds of years old. The effect is a wonderful walk in nature that you won’t want to miss.

Clubhouse

The Pestana Group, which in 2012 celebrated 40 The Pestana Gramacho Clubhouse, located in the heart of the resort, offers a full range of services, such as:

• Clubs, buggy and trolley hire

• Changing rooms

• Restaurant and bar located on the 18th hole with spectacular views of the Monchique mountains

• Putting-Green

• Buggy bar

• Pro-shop with well-known international golf brands

The reception is open every day from 7am until 6pm in winter, and in summer until 9pm.

The restaurant and bar are open every day from 7am to 10pm. Whether it’s an invigorating breakfast before your tee off, a light meal, or a substantial lunch after an intense game – this is the place to be! The diverse menu includes traditional Portuguese and international cuisine and our team is available to cater for any special request. With capacity to receive up to 200 people, the clubhouse is the perfect place to hold special events (work meetings, weddings or other special dates)
