Note: The 2025 edition was held at Philadelphia Cricket Club due to Quail Hollow hosting the PGA Championship the following week.

  • Quail Hollow Club was designed by George Cobb in 1961, with later renovations by Arnold Palmer and Tom Fazio. The course is famous for its challenging “Green Mile” finish (holes 16-18) and has hosted multiple PGA Championships and Presidents Cups.

  • The tournament is a key stop for players preparing for the PGA Championship.

  • đź’° Purse: $20,000,000

  • 🏆 Winner 2026: 🇳🇴 Kristoffer Reitan ($3,600,000) - Age: 28

👉🏼 Kristoffer Reitan captured the biggest victory of his career by winning the 2026 Truist Championship at Quail Hollow Club. The Norwegian star closed the tournament with a composed bogey-free 69 to finish at 15-under-par, securing a two-shot victory over Rickie Fowler and Nicolai Højgaard. It marked Reitan’s 1st PGA Tour title.

💡 Did you know that...

  • Reitan’s journey to PGA Tour success is particularly fascinating because his career has not followed a traditional path. After struggling with form earlier in his professional career, he temporarily stepped away from the spotlight and became known online for producing golf-related YouTube content. He later rebuilt his confidence on the DP World Tour, where he won twice in 2025 before earning his PGA Tour card.

  • Reitan was once the world’s No. 1 ranked amateur golfer in Norway and was considered one of Europe’s biggest young talents long before reaching the PGA Tour.

The victory was especially meaningful because it marked his first PGA Tour win since 2018, ending an eight-year drought for one of the Tour’s most respected veterans.

The final round showcased Snedeker’s trademark composure and elite putting ability. Despite making a bogey on the 18th hole, he managed to hold onto the lead after Hubbard faltered coming down the stretch and failed to force a playoff.

💡 Did you know that...

  • One of the most interesting aspects of Snedeker’s victory is how unexpected it felt in the context of modern PGA Tour golf. At 45 years old, he entered the week as a respected veteran rather than a tournament favorite, competing against younger players and rising stars.

  • Throughout his career, Snedeker has been famous for his fast, aggressive putting stroke and his ability to hole crucial putts under pressure.

  • Snedeker has enjoyed one of the most consistent careers of his era. He won the 2012 FedEx Cup, represented the United States in both the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup, and became widely admired for his sportsmanship and calm personality. He is also known for his deep connection to Nashville, Tennessee, where he has remained heavily involved in charitable and community projects throughout his career.

  • He once shot a stunning 59 at the 2018 Wyndham Championship, becoming only the tenth player in PGA Tour history at the time to break 60 in an official PGA Tour event. That round remains one of the greatest scoring performances of the modern era and highlighted the incredible streaky scoring ability that resurfaced during his Myrtle Beach triumph.
