Entering the closing stretch several shots behind leader Eric Cole, Henley produced an extraordinary charge by birdieing each of his final three holes in regulation to force a playoff at 12-under-par. He then birdied the first extra hole to secure victory and claim his sixth PGA TOUR title. The win marked his first victory of the 2026 season.
Henley’s performance was especially impressive because he was still three shots behind Cole when he arrived at the 16th tee. He proceeded to make birdies from approximately 16 feet on both the 16th and 17th holes before holing another lengthy birdie putt on the 18th. In the playoff, he calmly converted yet another birdie to complete a remarkable run of four consecutive birdies under intense pressure.
