The 18-hole Atlantic course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., opened in 1992 and staged the Portuguese Open two years later. Every hole is different and exciting, with Jones using the contours to great effect. The course has a superb flow and the views throughout are magnificent, especially away to the coastal towns of Cascais and Estoril and to the blue Atlantic ocean.

The practice areas, including a covered section, provide excellent facilities for both professional training or basic pre-game warm ups. Penha Longa Resort's Professionals look forward to welcoming you and are always available for individual lessons and tailor-made clinics.

The use of electric trolleys is recommended to really make the most of the course or one of the new buggies available for rent.
