🇺🇸 🏌🏽♂️ TOUR Championship – August 21-24, 2025 – East Lake Golf Club, Atlanta, Georgia • USA

This is the ultimate showdown! The TOUR Championship is the grand finale of the FedExCup Playoffs, where the top 30 players battle it out for the season's biggest prize. To make the event more exciting and to reflect the FedExCup standings, the players start the tournament with staggered scores based on their position. The leader begins at -10, and the rest follow accordingly. This creates a dramatic chase from the very first round.
The TOUR Championship was created in 1987 as a spectacular finale to the PGA Tour season. Initially, the tournament brought together the season's top 30 players based on their earnings. In 2007, the format was changed to become the culminating event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, determining the FedEx Cup champion.
⛳️ The East Lake Golf Club has been the host course for the TOUR Championship since 2004. The original course was designed by Tom Bendelow in 1904, but it was Donald Ross's 1913 redesign that shaped the course's enduring character. Over the years, East Lake has undergone restorations, most notably by Rees Jones in 1994, to maintain its challenging layout and preserve its historical integrity.
The financial stakes are incredibly high. The winner takes home a massive prize, making it one of the most lucrative events in golf.
🏆 The winner of the TOUR Championship receives the prestigious Calamity Jane Trophy, a sterling silver replica of Bobby Jones' original putter. 🧐 Bobby Jones, a legendary figure in golf, was an American amateur who achieved a feat unparalleled in the sport: the Grand Slam in 1930, winning all 4 major championships of his era (British Amateur, British Open, U.S. Open, U.S. Amateur) in a single year. Beyond his on-course brilliance, Jones was known for his sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct. He retired from competitive golf at the peak of his career at age 28, dedicating himself to his law practice and co-founding Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament. His legacy extends beyond his victories, embodying the spirit of integrity and passion that defines the game.
