The Ocean Restaurant at the resort offers an assortment of dining possibilities for your holidays, all in a carefully sanitized and safe environment, so you can enjoy your meal with minimal hassle!

You can also choose to enjoy lunch outdoors at Sunset Restaurant & Bar, which has a great terrace area overlooking the swimming pools. And speaking of terraces, the one at Primadonna Restaurant is open for dinner, with a tasty Mediterranean menu on offer.

Bars

The hotel also has bars where you can enjoy a drink or a light meal and take in the stunning landscape surrounding the resort.

The swimming pools

VidaMar Algarve’s 3 outdoor swimming pools are one of the resort’s calling cards.

Nestled in the cooling green of the palm tree garden (“Le Palmeraie”, as call it here) they offer an idyllic spot for a refreshing dip or even a lazy day lounging poolside.

The largest pool is a giant, at 70s metres long, 25 metres wide and 2 metres deep! Just to the left of the massive pool is the children’s pool, which has a diameter of 15 metres and a depth of 40 cm.

To further ensure the comfort of the young ones, the kid’s pool is progressively heated throughout the day. The Chill-Out pool is also heated throughout the day and is a great spot to relax in.

The Gardens

Salgados Beach

Just outside the resort there is a picturesque wooden footpath, which leads to the massive and beautiful Salgados Beach, within a pleasant walk crossing over the beach’s dunes.

At 7 km in length, it’s one of southern Portugal’s largest sand stretches and is absolutely perfect for lounging, sunbathing, walking about or even practicing a multitude of watersports.

All of this at a mere 2-minute walk and with a private exit/entrance from the hotel’s grounds.

You’re in for a treat, as your hotel is not only a couple of steps from a massive beach, it’s also a hop and a skip away from the majestic Salgados Lagoon. This rich and biodiverse area has a tremendous amount of bird species migrating here on a yearly basis.

The rich and biodiverse area hosts a huge array of migrant birds species, along with those that choose to make the lagoon their natural habitat. Its an astounding 60 km in total length, filled with vegetation, splendid views, fresh air and local animal life.
